Personalized Medicine: Improving the Regulatory Pathway

Personalized medicine has provided both great hope and great hype. Even partial realization of the potential of personalized medicine could significantly change medicine by enabling the right patients to get the right medicine at the right time in the right dose.

Yet while new diagnostic tools have led to some important advances in healthcare, the expected revolution has not arrived. So far, the Age of Personalized Medicine has not dawned. However, a number of improvements need to be implemented for personalized medicine to lead to meaningful clinical advances.
